One of the best possible choices for the maid of honor at any wedding is a devoted sister. This is especially true of Therese Merkel. She went all out for her sister by photographing her sister’s proposal. She accomplished it by camouflaging herself as a bush.

Therese is from Wisconsin and 23 years old. She wanted her sister Rachel to have photographs of her special moment. She believed the best way to remain hidden was by disguising herself as a bush.

Theresa shared pictures of herself with Twitter. She was wearing a camouflage ghillie suit. This was how she managed to get pictures of her sisters to surprise proposal. The moment took place at Picnic Point, Madison.

The amusing and highly entertaining photos were an instant hit on social media. The users started tagging their own relatives and friends in the comments. They were encouraging them to take advantage of the inspiration provided by Therese.

Andrew Philibeck is Rachel’s fiance. Theresa was helping him with the planning of his proposal one week prior to a very well known trail. Her idea to photograph the proposal started out as a joke. She suggested disguising herself as a bush.

Andrew fell in love with the idea. Since Therese was the videographer of the family, Andrew ordered a ghillie suit. This would enable her to film the proposal without being seen.

When Therese talked about her sister’s proposal, she said hiding gave her an ideal view of the entire event. Even though Andrew knew she was there, he had no idea where she was. The suit she was wearing was excellent.

Andrew had written a poem for Rachel which he recited. He then lowered himself to one knee. His first attempt was not perfect because the ring was stuck inside of his pocket. During his second try, Rachel said yes.

Therese said she yelled she said yes. This completely revealed where she was hiding despite her disguise. Her sister Rachel was confused and crying tears of happiness at the same time. The event was incredibly special for everyone there.

Theresa has a thousand followers on Twitter she wanted to share the event with. She posted a nice selection of the photos she took during the evening. One photography showed where she was hiding during the event.

Another photo revealed her entire outfit. She even posted a picture of her sister when she said yes to the marriage proposal. Theresa was unique when she captioned her photos. She talked about how she disguised herself as a bush just so she could watch and take pictures of the amazing moment.

Theresa and Rachel are only one year apart, but their lives are very different. The idea was praised by the users on social media. They wanted to see Therese’s move copied by their friends and relatives.

One user stated they wished one of their siblings was like Therese. Another loved the combination of creepy and sweet. Yet another user asked a friend if they would be willing to do the same if the time ever came.
