The search for ways to make your wedding truly spectacular is always ongoing. Animals can certainly help. Your friends released doves, your cousin had their family dog bring the rings. How can these fantastic feats be topped? The answer is simple. Donkeys. Donkeys win every time. Little Burro Events, a company from California, now offers you the opportunity to have donkeys serve beverages at your wedding. Amazing!
Do you remember the last wedding you were at? Who served the alcohol? If it was human waiters, then you were at just another boring wedding. It is time to spice it up! Little Burro Events has two donkeys who they hire out. These donkeys will make their way around your wedding party carrying whatever booze you would like to offer your guests. Prepare for a chorus of “awws” as these adorable fellas do the rounds.
A couple of obvious questions do arise. Is this cruel? In short, no. The donkeys will only work for 60 – 90 minutes and are well treated by the company. While donkeys are known to be able to carry weighty loads, these little fellas will only carry 45 pounds each. So no slave donkey labor is taking place. Rest assured.
Ok Ok..there is one more big question. What if a donkey needs to AHEM.. look after his business? They have thought of that too. A small bag is attached below the donkey to catch whatever he feels the need to let go of at the time.
So how much does this wonderous idea cost? It is a little expensive, one donkey will set you back $1,000 for an hour or $1,5000 for 90 minutes. There is no discount for two donkeys with the price doubling if you want the pair! If you are not convinced, that is only because I have not told you yet that hey are MINI donkeys, and their names are Buritto and Zoey. I don’t have a wedding planner, and I want to organize one just to hire these heroes.
