Bride Asks Wedding Guests to Wear Their Own Bridal Dresses

Marriage is a tradition that almost everybody in our society goes through. However, marriage is certainly not a competition and therefore has no specific cutoff date. For those who get married late into their life, it is definitely possible to feel societal pressure that makes them feel like they were missing out on something.

If you’re someone who is getting married later in your life than other people you know, it’s important to understand that there is nothing wrong with that. Though society expects us to act in many ways, one of the beautiful things about life is that we all have the ability to express ourselves in different ways.

The fact that everybody does things differently is one of the most beautiful things about life. For those who know how to live life to the fullest, these differences are where the most rewarding moments are born.

The actor Audrey Moore definitely understood this perspective when she realized that she was the last of her friends to get married. Instead of feeling as though she was losing at a race, she instead tried to keep the atmosphere light and be playful with her wedding.

In order to keep things fanciful, Moore encouraged her friends to attend the occasion in their bridal gowns. After posting a photo of the resulting photo of her and her friends</a>, her wedding plans went viral and were posted all over social media.

Colors That Stand Out

Based on the fact that her friends would be wearing their wedding dresses, you would think that Moore wouldn’t stand out in the crowd. After all, wouldn’t all of the wedding dresses blend into each other due to the uniform color of white?

Well, not exactly. Moore anticipated that most of the dresses would be white and prepared for that, choosing to wear a bright blue bridal gown. Not only was this dress absolutely dazzling, but it was also reportedly inspired by the character Elsa from the Disney movie Frozen!

A Blast from the Guest

Something that stands out to us about Moore’s dress code decision is that it is just as much a tribute to her friends as it is a setting for her wedding. Because she had attended all of the weddings of the people who were attending hers, the event became a type of blast from the past that she was able to revisit once again. We think this is incredibly unique and one of the main reasons why we love fashion and weddings so much!

A Moment to Remember

Weddings are some of the most sacred ceremonies you can take part in. This is why we believe that it’s important to do all you can to make your ceremony part of an unforgettable day. We applaud Moore for being so creative with her wedding ceremony and truly making it a unique celebration!
